Birthing With Your Moon
- The Mutable Signs
As I watched myself give birth, I felt the confines of myself stretch, feeling another being pass through me, ushering forth a gift for growth and another level of relationship. I learnt how to develop and use my intuition with my Moon in 2015 after giving birth to my Scorpio Moon daughter. I am also a Building Biology™ -trained Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist. These fields emanate from living and electrical systems. I apply these principles when trying to calm and clear my client’s mindful wellbeing and their environment in preparation for birth and motherhood.
Meaning of the mutable signs
Cardinal, fixed, and mutable are astrology's three modalities (also referred to as quadruplicities, qualities, or modes.) Modality describes an astrological sign's modus operandi. The fixed signs are flexible, adaptable, accommodating, changeable, and fluid. They are the original multi-taskers.
The downside is they can slip into an endless loop of feeling being “astray” (or missing the point) and scattered.
Mutable signs end every season, and in their childhood, they have learnt the hard lessons taught, respectively of each season. Intuitively understanding that things come to an end, their role as Mothers is to prepare their loved ones through and for the changing of seasons.
Mothering gifts of the mutable signs
These Moons are confident and self-reliant in how they nurture. They teach their children the importance of being trustworthy and loyal. Through their actions, they show the value of focused, purposeful, and productive. Their best parenting style is steady, reliable, persistent, and patient.
When stressed or out of balance, the Moons become bossy, and single-minded at home and with their children, which may drive less domineering Moons into recluse. They are unable to adjust easily to routines that are in their best interests, becomgin inflexible and rigid. Their tempers become petulant—which is not at all the relationship these proud Moons want to have with their loved ones!

This Moon grounds itself in reality, and is kept busy analysing and putting things in order. Not everything can be analysed however, or at least not within the timeframe you have set, but, after a point, this Moon finds it possible to relax and go with the flow.
Sagittarius Moon

Knowledge has always fed this Moon’s soul, and it is what will quench the new journey of motherhood ahead. At the end of the day, even luck can feel a little random and faithless, but it is important for you to impart this awareness to your children.

When you feel connection with the cosmic and invisible around you, you feel at peace and able to proceed through the sometimes jarring, stressful process of evolving towards a new role in what may seem an unempathetic environment.
