They May Have Just Made Charlie Kirk a Martyr
Conservative activist Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot dead on 10 September 2025, while speaking to students at Utah Valley university.
Nobody should lose their life on account of their political beliefs. May he rest in peace.

There’s a lot of opinion around Charlie Kirk and the assassination that just happened. You might have yours.
I didn’t follow him. I’m neither American nor in the US. But Charlie Kirk’s death is significant. Its issues — freedom, race and immigration, increasing social ills and violence — are not exclusive to its borders.
The media doesn’t look like a great place to start. The general vibe is that he was “a threat to democracy.”

Is he?
Instead of kicking off with a quick profile, here’s a fellow Substacker’s tribute post about Kirk the person.
It’s not possible to write who Charlie Kirk is. It’s not my intention with these natal promises.
Let’s take a look at the broader archetypal energies, instead, in Kirk’s natal chart. These are the generational lights.
Generational Potential and Pitfall — Truth, Change…and Conciliation?
On the day that Kirk was born, no major geometric pattern dominated. But the big lights are in prime position.
Three heavyweights.
They represent the Millennial generation and themes evolving with this group, so let’s go through them.
On the day that Charlie Kirk was born, Saturn in 23° 45' Aquarius (r) and Uranus in 18° 22' Capricorn are strongly placed in mutual reception. Both square more personal lights Sun in 22° 21' Libra and Jupiter in 24° 27' Libra (and likely the Moon too). Another generational light is dominant in domicile: Pluto in 24° 9' Scorpio. The latter conjuncts Mars and Mercury.
The first two big lights:
Saturn is the taskmaster or Grim Reaper. It brings limits, boundaries, hard knocks.
Saturn is interesting here. It is in rulership, domicile, or home in its own sign Aquarius. Thus, the chart-holder (Kirk) is able to express its functions. The positive take is that it’s easy for you to take action here positively.
Saturn is also retrograde. More than others, you had to learn the value of discipline or structure. Responsibility was a hard lesson.
Aquarius represents the collective, freedom, and the future.
Aquarius is pop-memed as anti-authority and a rebel. It’s not. It seeks structure.
Saturn in Aquarius is also in mutual reception with Uranus in Capricorn.
Uranus is the Great Awakener. It brings shocks and sudden changes. Also inspiration and genius.
Both (Aquarius and Capricorn) are universal signs. Both take a collective perspective, not so self-oriented.
Capricorn is as establishment as they come. Just keep that in mind for now.
“Without free speech, there is no such thing as truth. The moment you silence opposing voices, you destroy the foundation of democracy.”—Charlie Kirk
“If you want success, stop waiting for the government to hand it to you. Responsibility is the path to opportunity.”—Charlie Kirk
All these generational lights meet his personal ones.
They make a tense square to his personal lights:
Sun (ego and creative identity);
Jupiter (his bigger perspective);
and likely his Moon (his private emotional self).
All three in Air sign Libra ruled by the intellect.
Air-dominant folk are truly open to debate, to the free exchange of ideas.
I try to keep these profiles concise. If you listen (really listen) to how Kirk speaks, you’ll hear how he brings up these themes over and over.
I found this clip. It’s classic aware Libra. (And I’ll prove it with more examples when Libra season rolls along.)
“When people stop talking, bad things happen. When marriages stop talking, divorce happens. When civilization stops talking, civil war ensues.”—Charlie Kirk

Kirk was indeed a Saturn and Uranus archetype for his generation (and others). He did it through dialogue and talk (Libra/Air)—lots of it.
He spoke up against social ills, advocating for marriage, traditional ideas and ideals (Saturn). Stodgy traditional stuff, right?
But it is so against today’s grain, that he’s also a maverick and a lightning bolt for the masses seeking change (Uranus).
True Saturn and Uranus folk (that’s you Capricorn and Aquarius) are never going to everyone’s cup of tea. But that’s not their raison d-être.
“You see the Left don’t like it when I say things like that. But I’m sorry. You guys made the entire country burn and come to a knee. (…) We’re now going to make you live up to your own rules.”—Charlie Kirk on his last podcast before his assassination
The third light amps it up:
Pluto is the Destroyer. It brings rebirth, but not before death.
At “home” in Scorpio, you were born part of the powerful and much-maligned Millennials. Its themes are today’s current events: power struggle and autonomy over the body and its choices (e.g. reproductive rights and abortion; sex and gender; medical tyranny and control; bio-tech convergence, etc.).
To repeat these are three generational placements that most Millennials have in their natal charts.
In Kirk’s chart, it becomes deeply personal in how it makes significant aspects with personal lights.

Each week, I dig into the astrological archetypes to reflect how we harness our energy to flow better in life — it’s the natal promise revealing potential, possibilities, and pitfalls in your life—mostly masquerading as subconscious patterns, beliefs, and habits in life.

Nobody deserves to be shot for “rhetoric”. Even though Kirk’s main advocacy used to be in the spectrum of mainstream opinion in the West.
Killing people in the name of ideas, ideology, politics never sits well and it shouldn’t with anyone.
Violence is never the answer.
Condolences to his family and compatriots.
