Your Best Vibrational State: How to Be A High Frequency Person, No Matter What Your Astrology Chart Says

Have you ever gone to an astrology reading and walked away deflated and in trepidation of what’s coming up (next Mercury retrograde, Full Moon, month, year…)?

Astrology readings can seem foreboding and fatalistic when negative aspects are brought to us as character flaws or when negative trends and “predictions” are highlighted. It can be a shock especially when, until the hour of the reading, we have been living in wonderful ignorance.

Good astrologers will take pains to explain to you the potential energy in your charts. They understand that the chart can be expressed more positively or negatively based on how the person interprets those energies in life. This goes for any spiritual tool or method that you gravitate to using, such as tarot, psychic readings, etc.

This means you are in charge of your charts. You are in the driver’s seat.

What is energy?

Everything in life has vibrations, as everything is matter. Even feelings and moods create vibrations at different frequencies. This is how certain things, events, and people make us feel buoyed up or drained.

Good Energy is “luck”

It is also why certain people seem luckier than others. Their thoughts, feelings, and actions are consistently at a “higher vibration”.

A high vibration person is someone who radiates positive energy and emits a powerful magnetic force. They seem to effortlessly manifest whatever they want in life, and they often appear to have it all.

Most likely, those people have worked at getting themselves in higher order. They weren’t all born with a silver spoon in their mouths or a perfect astrological natal chart.

This is why there is no singular aspect that are surefire portends of success. Neither are there aspects that 100% bring downfall. In modern astrological schools of thought, rather than seeing aspects as negative and positive, they’re seen as hard or easy.

Becoming a high-vibration person requires living in alignment with your true self. Usually it results in you radiating positivity, attracting abundance, and spreading love, kindness, and compassion wherever you go. You simply cannot help it!

Negative energy in the chart

Astrological aspects that are “hard”:

  • Squares

  • Opposition

  • Quincunx

Hard aspects between planets affect areas of your life depending on which “house” they fall into. These aspects lead us to a tendency to feel:

  • A sense of scarcity, a tendency to focus on what we don’t have

  • We don’t have it / We can’t have it

  • Cling into what we do have

  • Risk-averse

With Negative aspects, we may see challenges as obstacles and misfortune.

Positive energy in the chart

Astrological aspects that are “easy”:

  • Trines

  • Sextiles

Easy aspects between planets affect areas of your life depending on which “house” they fall into. When you have lots of easy aspects between, it is easy for you to consistently see the glass as half full, focusing on the good in every situation.

You are able to navigate life's ups and downs with grace, avoiding emotional extremes. With positive aspects, we are able to see challenges and any misfortune as blessings in disguise.

These aspects lead us to a tendency to feel:

  • A sense of abundance, a tendency to focus on the good things

  • We have it already

  • Open to opportunities

  • Risk-aware

Do you want hard? Or easy? Try a thought experiment

You can learn to switch your perspective of “negative aspects” by seeing them as the hard grit that you are refining yourself by.

For example: Two planets in hard aspect that some people interpret as awful for wanting a happy, breezy life are Mars and Saturn.

Mars is your will and energy. Saturn is how you handle responsibility and how you mature. Mars and Saturn in hard aspect is is associated with words such as “blocked”, “stunted”, “sense of failure”, “wet blanket”... Not the most encouraging basket of words for a person and it’s not going to get much on any dating profile either.

Yet many successful people have Mars and Saturn in hard aspects. “Endurance”, “self-resilience”, “embracing the grind”, “patience” is the forte of those with this aspect. If you have this aspect in your chart, you have great potential to turn all obstacles into sturdy bridges to success.

They turned the hard energy that seems so palpable in their lives into positive drive to achieve their goals.

So which is it? Is this aspect positive or negative?

It depends on the person…

Famous people with a Mars-Saturn in hard aspect: Venus Williams (in Virgo), Aubrey Plaza (in Scorpio), Nostradamus, Margaret Mead, Naomi Judd, Al Gore, Ellen De Generes (in Sagittarius), Sammy Davis Jr., Geena Davis, Roger Daltrey, Billy Crystal, Steven Tyler (in Leo, both retrograde), Victoria Beckham (in Gemini), Rihanna (Mars in late Sagittarius, Saturn in early Capricorn), Cindy Crawford (in Pisces), Jessica Biel (in Libra).

Your feelings and actions change when you take the latter view that you have a sense of abundance.

Try this:
What if someone told you that in one month you would have $1,000,000 deposited in your bank account. You have more money that you would ever need. You’d probably snap right out of any negative energy that you’re in right now, charged with excitement at what the money represents to you: freedom, adventure, opportunity, etc...

How can I practice being high-vibration?

You can start with your mind(set):

  • The unexpected can be positive. Your plans being disrupted is not negative.

  • You’re always one step away from a new perspective. Don’t get stuck in a negative loop.

  • You may be thankful that life does not go according to plan. Life’s plan is always larger than your own.

  • Find the good in the bad. It’s the only way through.

  • You can create habits everyday that help you stay and grow such a mindset. (How the signs gain energy — let’s explore this in another article.)
